Our work does not speak for itself.

This training walks you through the Communication Guide for Working Makeup Artists. It covers ten scenarios you will run into as a working artist, from responding to a new inquiry, to handling changes on the job, to saying no without closing a door on a client permanently.

The part of the guide I want you to spend the most time on is the section on psychology. It explains three things that are always happening when someone reads a message from you, and once you understand them, you'll know why one email gets you the job and another one doesn't. That matters more than copying a template, because what comes up in your business won't always fit a script.

There's a lot more like this inside the Artist to Artist membership. It's where we work on things like:

  • EstablishingĀ your rates, and quoting them without second guessing yourself
  • Getting more of the kind of work you actually want to be doing
  • Working through a client problem while it's happening, not after something has gone wrong
  • Technique help when something isn't working the way you want, or when there's a job you're unsure how to approach
  • Feedback on your portfolio and your social so you attract the clients you want

It exists to answer your questions, make you a more confident artist, and help you book better clients.
